Hartwell Homes are building three detached homes, each with five bedrooms, three bath/shower rooms, two/three reception rooms and a kitchen/dining/family room. There is also a ground floor cloakroom and utility room.

Each home has a double garage of the traditional open fronted design with storage above fitted with light, power and IT connections, making it suitable for a number of different uses.

The specification is comprehensive and to a high standard, with kitchen designs individual to each house, including fitted and integrated dishwasher and ‘fridge/freezer combinations, complemented by comprehensive cupboard/drawer storage and modern easycare worktop surfaces. Bathroom and cloakroom are fitted with stylish, off the floor white sanitaryware with state of the art taps and digital showering (en suite only), set off by tasteful tiling to walls and floors.

Hot water and central heating is provided by an air source heat pump which is both economical and ecologically friendly, running at efficiency levels of up to 350% (compared with gas and oil at 90%/95%). Whole house heating is a wet underfloor system easily controlled by thermostats in a number of zones, while domestic hot water is stored separately in a traditional style 400 litre cylinder within the airing cupboard and provides plenty of capacity to cover busy demand periods.

A strong landscaping scheme will be planted, introducing native species and retaining as much of the existing planting as possible. This is of a varied nature in both species and age and will serve to return a firm “hedgerow” edge to the boundary with the adjoining playing field. A maintenance scheme will be implemented by a Management Company created by Hartwell Homes for the new residents and will also maintain the shared drive and the new drainage system.
